Donna Bracher, MA, LPC

Donna specializes in working with individuals who are facing life transitions or relationship challenges (whether with intimate partners, family or friends) which have left them feeling overwhelmed, confused or unable to make healthy choices. She works with clients to help them gain clarity, discover options and regain a sense of connection with their core self so that they can make decisions that are right for them. She also works with clients on a range of other issues including anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and surviving intimate partner abuse.

Donna’s approach to counseling is flexible and tailored to each client and their circumstances. She aims to give her clients practical tools that can be used immediately to help reduce stress and enhance one’s ability to cope with life challenges, while also working on discovering and addressing deeper issues that lead to long term change. She integrates strategies such as relaxation techniques, meditation, mindfulness, assertiveness, creating healthy boundaries, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Sandtray-Worldplay Therapy, in order to help her clients increase self-awareness, learn to trust themselves and their choices, and to create a fulfilling life.
